I’m sharing with you today how doing a Tree Dance helps my Creativity flow more freely when I feel stuck or tired.
In the past Newsletters we journeyed trough the Roots and Trunk of our inner Tree and today we arrive at the Branches. To me the Branches with their fruits or cones symbolize the wild Creations of a Tree.
While the Roots of our inner Tree connect us to the Earth, our inner Branches connect us to the Heavens, to Freedom, Expansion and Inspiration.
The branches of trees reach up into space towards the Light and transform CO2 into life giving Oxygen. Branches reach up towards the Heavens and dance and sway in the wind.
We too can reach up towards the Light and let this Field of uplifting energy infuse our creations with infinite possibilities.
We can imagine that every Branch of our inner Tree is a Facet of what we are creating in our life, for example our job and the fruits of our labor, our relationships with the deep sharing, our hobbies with their fun expressions, our good intentions which can lift up the World.
Sometimes we need to actively care for our creations and sometimes we need to give them the freedom to expand and maybe grow into an unexpected direction.
Branches often twist and turn and change the direction of their growth.
Through our inner Branches we have infinite possibilities to express ourselves. We can be wildly creative and consciously imagine growing a new Branch on our inner Tree.
One of the Branches of my inner Tree is this Substack Newsletter. It’s a new Branch, it’s still very tender, filled with new growth, reaching up and out into space.
I created it as a wild inner Branch of Light and Authenticity and hope that it will inspire you, my dear readers, to create wildly from your Heart.
I’m cultivating my Substack creation every day with my love, intuition, creativity.
Writing my Newsletters makes me very aware that our creativity has its growing and resting seasons just like the branches of a tree go though seasons.
There are times when my creative energy flows freely and I’m deeply connected to my inspiration. That’s when my writing flows freely.
There are also times when it feels like I’m stuck and realize that I can’t force my creativity into flowing, I can’t control it from my head and will myself to be creative.
During those times when my creativity is stuck or dried up, metaphorically when my inner Branches are becoming dry and rigid, I know that I have to take time to infuse my creations with fresh wild energy.
So I get up and start to move my body and do a Tree Dance.
As a Yoga Instructor and avid Yoga practitioner I’m deeply aware how beneficial it is to move our body consciously.
Embodying our inner Tree can help our creative energy to move more freely so when we feel stuck or tired during the day we can get up and do a Tree Dance.
I imagine being a Tree. I close my eyes and ground myself with deep Roots first, connect with my Tree Trunk, my Essence, and then raise my arms, which are my inner Tree Branches, reaching up to the higher Source of Light and then I sway and dance and move freely and wildly.
With our intuitive Tree Dance we can celebrate and remember our connection with the Earth and the Heavens. It’s a way to get out of our head and give our creative energy the freedom to go wild.
When I embody my inner Tree I remember that around the Branches of my inner Tree is infinitive space and I connect with this Field of Light with its infinite possibilities.
There are no limits to our growth and we can consciously choose to reach up to the highest Source of Light and infuse our creations with wild Freedom and Inspiration.
I hope to inspire you with this Tree Dance to:
Get out of your head and into your body to get unstuck and let your creative energy flow wildly.
Remember the Field of Light with its infinite possibilities.
Unleash your creativity through the Branches of your inner Tree.
Grow new inner Branches every day or nurture a long forgotten Branch.
Use your imagination wildly.
Maybe splice branches to your inner Tree and make it a wildly diverse Tree, maybe a mix of a coniferous and a deciduous tree.
Connecting our creations consciously to the Heavens, just like we need the grounding and connection with Mother Earth, infuses our creations and our whole Life with wild Freedom and Inspiration.
Prompts for your Tree Dance
This is an inspiration to let your creativity flow freely while getting out of your head and into your wild Heart while embodying your inner Tree.
I suggest that you do this while standing. You could then close your eyes if that feels comfortable or keep your eyes open.
You could first ground yourself through your inner Roots.
And then you could imagine that your arms are your inner Tree Branches. They are your creations that you can grow and nurture.
You could start by placing your hands onto your heart and listening to the Wildness within your Heart and then let your hands lift off and let your arms move out into space freely, intuitively, wildly while swaying and dancing.
And while you let your arms move, you could envision how the Heavens are inviting you to reach up and fill yourself with the Light and the Freedom and Inspiration.
And then imagine that your arms and hands are staying connected with the infinite Field of Light when you return to your daily life and let the Light fill your creations.
I hope that you will share in the Comment section about your experiences with your Tree Dance.
To protect the integrity of my publication please don’t promote any outside projects in the comment section.
“May the Wildness within your Heart inspire you to become more of YOU.”
Until next time!
I’m looking forward to hearing from you 🤗
